Die folgenden Berechnungen wurden auf Basis von Branchendurchschnittsdaten erstellt. Derartige Berechnungen sollte jedes Unternehmen, optimalerweise auf Basis einer integrierten Unternehmensplanung, selbst durchführen. Diese sollte spätestens im 4. Quartal vor Beginn der Planperiode vorliegen um rechtzeitig die Anpassung der Stundensätze sowohl im Bereich der Gemeinkosten wie auch im Bereich der KV-Steigerung für das Folgejahr vornehmen zu können.
